Apparently the cops told the kids to YELL FOR HELP. So a little girl did just that and was heard by the shooter. And one of the kids was killed by an officer shooting in the wrong direction, and there could be even more that died that way. There were also cops who only went in to grab their children and not help with anything else. There were also parents who were cuffed for trying to save their children when they realized the police weren’t going to
They had to call border control and swat because the regular police force wouldn’t do anything productive
