If you ACTUALLY read the link you sent me too you'd see that it CONFIRMS what I said, doesn't debunk it. The www.faqcheck.dnc.ChineseGov't.biz article says that some windmills infact do not recoup production cost due to poor placement and short lifespans of Chinese imports.
But that "Some Windmills recoup energy in as little as 6 years." So the statement is "false."
As usual, the left doesn't even read their CNN links. Wake up.

I'm just saying: even if you believed faqcheck.com or whatever, the articles always explain why the claim is only true SOME OF THE TIME and then label it "false."

Yes, when you build a windmill where the wind never blows, and then it gets zapped by lightning frying its internal components (the idiot contractors didn’t proof it for this), and then it gets ripped out of the ground by a tornado and deposited 15 miles away, and then a fissure opens up unexpectedly in the earth and swallows it whole — then that windmill didn’t return its energy investment.

Would you like to know what happens when coal power goes wrong? Oil? Nuclear?

Hey man, I'm all for a free-market solution. If coal producers can deliver cheaper energy to consumers after we strip away the tens of billions in taxpayers subsidies that coal receives, and after we impose a pollution tax that accurately accounts for coal's costs to environment, and after we've removed every damages limitation and liability shield that the coal industry's lobbyists have written into law, then by all means, burn baby burn.

I'll just keep waiting on that explanation for why sending taxpayer dollars to China, the world's largest producer of "greenhouse gases" and pollution so they can burn coal to produce plastic windmills for us is "clean energy."
It's weird how "clean" energy always lines the pockets of communists and send jobs (and emissions) to the 2nd world instead of actually lowering them...

I’ve never said we should buy from China. We should buy American — especially for critical industries, and energy certainly falls in that category. The last two years in particular have exposed the folly of relying on countries like China or Russia for… well, anything.

America has gobloads of wind. So much wind you wouldn’t believe. It’s incredible, believe me.

Manufacture the windmills here (which creates jobs), at a high standard of quality, install them here (where the wind actually blows), wean ourselves off foreign oil, etc. kill two birds with one stone.

About those birds. Literally kill two birds. Or 10,000 birds. Yeah, the birds are gonna suffer. Oh well. There’s no perfect energy source. 🤷‍♂️

All the current windmills are manufactured in China and the "transportation" bill is subsidising Chinese "clean energy" production.
