Right, but it was a gun free zone and children got shot. So your argument by implication is flawed. When we want to protect something we surround it with guns, not take the guns away and hope really hard the evil and crazy people willing to murder a couple dozen people will care about a regulatory law.

The shooter was allowed to roam the school for over an hour before police entered. He could have had a machete and still killed as many (or more) people. None of these proposed disarmament attempts would have stopped him from going into that school and murdering children.

You know what would have stopped him? Armed guards at the school. A few trained school staff allowed to carry firearms. Parents with firearms allowed to enter the school instead of being tased and arrested by police outside. This is the real world. In the real world, you have to engage with reality. And reality doesn't care how much you wish taking guns away would stop murder, because murder still happens, is still possible, and still continues.

As for attempting to pull "pro-life" people into this, as if, you somehow care and want to highlight their hypocrisy, over a MILLION MORE babies are murdered in the womb each year than are killed by gun violence. The real hypocrisy here is that you think you're on a high horse because you want to disarm people.
