Labor have now won their 50th seat, looking bad

Isn't it projected that Labor won at least 72 seats? But not quite the majority.

UPDATE: The Labor party currently has 75 seats, needs one more but will only win one more which is the seat of Macmanara (they currently hold the seat but results are yet to be called as about 25% of the votes haven't been counted yet).

I've started looking at the Australian political parties, some are hard to differentiate. But I'm trying. Did any more upsets happen?

The biggest upset at the moment for me is for the Seat of Flinders where Zoe McKenzie succeeds departing Greg Hunt (former Health Minister) with a further 1.0% swing towards the Liberals (Previously held by LIB with margin of 5.6%) now at about 6.6% (fairly safe for a win but not as safe as the seat of Hughes (currently at 6.9%) despite a swing against the Liberals by 2.9%).

there are still 12 seats in doubt and Labor can still win 5 of those seats including Bennelong (John Howard's old seat)

It was interesting to listen to. I need to become a little more familiar with the parties.

the numbers will come later tonight but something not surprising is that Craig Kelly (UAP leader) is going to be booted out of parliament

That's what I kinda figured. So why is it prominent that Craig Kelly is losing?

because he was always liberal until he was disendorsed due to covid 19 conspiracy theories spread, so he will be ditched by the locals
0 ups, 2y
That's good. The news portrayed the Covid lockdowns in Australia as quite severe.
