This guy. Not movie Loki, canon Norse mythology Loki. Two things on why:
1. Loki is more like a brother rather than a son to Odin, portrayed in the Marvel movies. Which I think makes the betrayal(s) more interesting.
2. He is actually evil, and he doesn’t get a redemption ark. He and his children play a part in bringing about ragnorak, the destruction of Asgard. However he is interesting because he has reasons to his evilness, while often he does get up to mischief- simply for fun, usually he has reasons to why he does the things he does. The gods are pretty cruel to him, though he does awful things, he did plenty good ones. Thor owes his thanks to Loki for his hammer (Loki had a dwarf craft it), Loki would also like to take credit for the large wall protecting Asgard (he used his brains to trick a giant into building it).
