Thanks to the theory of general relativity, it is actually possible to physically time travel into the future, and at a greater speed through the time-space continuum than you currently are now - however, in order to do this, you need to travel through space-time at nearly the speed of light for a prolonged period of time - something that no one has done as of yet.
