Hannibal was
tiring. in a way. kinda. At least to mE .-. cuz like, everything was slow asf and the more the show progressed the more shit was being added on to this o n e story which made it a lil more difficult to follow,, whereas The Boys contains
m u l t i p l e stories that are all separately easier to follow and make more sense. I dO think that The Boys could've marketed the show better ,, if there was a way to indicate that it's not just about the average superheros - without spoiling anything. But I understand that
might be a lil bit difficult cuz part of the whole story is everyone b e l i e v i n g they're all the typical superheros.
And in general, The Boys is more interesting .-. in my opinion. It doesn't ever
slow down,, unlike Hannibal. I would never sKip any episodes but I'm sure there were a few in Hannibal that you c o u l d ' v e skipped without it being
without it messing up the whole storyline,,
yeknow?
And I also think TheBoys is a little more bold. But I'm not gonna blame Hannibal for not being "bold enough" because that show was airing on TV, so they had to censor it more. And even then they managed to fit in some pretty uncensored shit.
I actually don't know why I brought this up.
ofc TheBoys is gonna be more bold if Hannyballs is on TV ,, u g h
uh .-. They both have
a good and bad side. The "f**king conversations in every episode" were actually
really well done. Most shows would bore you tf out but Hannibal managed to have minutes of just,, endless dialogue and yet sTill keep the audience entertained. The Boys did a really good job with having 6900+ stories and being able to tie them all together in a way that actually makes sense- but I do admit for both shows you
you really gotta
actually
pay attention cuz miss one thing and you don't know wtf is going on. And there isn't anything wrong with that,, it just means that it's not really a thing for a typically short-attention-spanned audience like myself.
In case you haven't noticed.
