The headline isn’t entirely true — historically, white women favor Republicans, but not by much.
Overall, taking all races into account, the gender gap between the parties is large and growing. Minority women have always correctly recognized that it doesn’t pay to reinforce the patriarchy.
Now that it’s undeniable that Republicans are coming to regulate white uteruses too, we’ll see what white women do. Ball’s in their court!
