But then you end up getting embarrassed in front of the whole class if you don’t know something and there’s just DEAD silence until you say something, which is wrong and then he/she corrects you and you want to be left alone for the rest of the class period.

it has happened to be before, AND AM SHY. this is how it went
teacher: "{insert name here}, can you tell me the answer to this problem"
then I just sit there, nervous as heck, and I guess
I was surprisingly close.
and then I wanted to leave the classroom, enter a bathroom stall and stay in there until school ends
