<Alrighty-! The first match will begin momentarily, I’m your host- invisible_girl and welcome to the tournament! The fighters have no clue who they are up against, for all they know it could be their sibling or even someone they LOVE! A person wins when one of three things happens. A)their opponent forfeits. B) their opponent is knocked out. Or C) their opponent is killed. Now- let the games begin!
Devin appears and looks across the arena.>
“GEAR?!”
“Devin?! What are you doing here?!”
“I don’t know!”
“I don’t want to fight you.”
“I don’t think we have a choice.”
<You don’t. In fact, to motivate both of you to fight, I’m going to say that if you don’t, you will both instantly be killed and eliminated from the tournament. Which is a shame because A LOT of people are looking forward to this match.>
“I guess we have to fight,” Devin says lighting their arm aglow with blue fire.
“So be it.”
Devin sends a wall of fire across the arena and it washes over Gear’s body, burning his skin and singeing his hair. He retaliates with a burst of magic aimed at Devin, who blocks it with their wings creating a thick cloud of dust. As it settles, Devin has Gear pinned to the ground and lights their fist ablaze once more.
<FINISH HIM!>
Gear looks at Devin with fear in his eyes.
“You’re not actually going to kill me, are you?” he whispers to Devin
“No. but you wouldn’t stand a chance in future rounds, so I’m just going to apologize in advance-”
“Wh-...?”
Devin hits Gear with enough force to shake the arena.
<K.O.! Devin moves to the next round!>
“Fine. I’ll play your little game invisible_girl. I’ll be your puppet. But know this, I will find out what your true intentions are, and I WILL not hesitate to stop you.” Devin says staring into the sky.
