Kaitou stares across the arena and meets eyes with Alpha.
“Who are you?” Alpha asks
“The person who’s going to win. It’s better if i don’t know you. Gives me reason to not hold back.”
“Fine. but i should warn you, once blood spills, I won’t stop. I won’t show mercy to you.”
Kaitou grins, “there can only be one cocky and arrogant boy, and that’s me!” He begins by creating a smokescreen and overwhelming heat in the air.
Alpha begins to become drowsy, and kaitou explains, “You're not meant to fight in these conditions, my body was built to handle the heat it produces.”
Alpha grabs his dagger and his ears twitch, locating Kaitou. He swings and barely cuts Kaitou’s arm. The blood falls onto Alpha’s hands and his eyes glow red.
“Uh oh.” Kaitou quickly wraps his wound and a humongous heatwave blasts across the arena as flames flicker and twist across and around Kaitou. Alpha charges at Kaitou, quickly swinging his blade. Kaitou swiftly dodges each attack and leaves burns along Alpha’s arms and face. Alpha falls to his knees, too dizzy from the heat and exhausted from the attacks.
“Look, you seem like a decent guy, you have the drive and power and i respect that, i have no reason to kill you, but i sure as hell ain’t gonna lose.” kaitou says leaving Alpha to collapse on the ground.
