Arial sucks. Arial is the most boring, bland, basic font conceivable. Even bold, underlined, and in italics, it is found wanting. Black arial in particular. It is more basic than UGGS, a Fjallraven Kanken backpack and a pumpkin spice chai latte. Those who actively choose to use it are either A: sado-masochists or B:at a pH of nine. Arial is the baked potato of fonts. You can add sour cream, cheese, bacon bits, chives, and all the other stuff to make it better, but at its core, it is still the disgusting monstrosity that is Arial.
