If you're too lazy to read the bible for yourself or to even Google the answer, then you probably don't need to worry about tithing. Buying your way into Heaven isn't a great plan for your eternal soul.

i did google it, and i read the bible, and the verse just says that 10% of what you have is the Lord's. this is exactly what it said: A tenth of the produce of the land, whether grain or fruit, is the Lord's, and is holy. Leviticus 27:30. also, the only religion that ever called itself Christian that I know of where they thought you had to buy your way into heaven is (correct me if I'm wrong) catholicism. I'm a messianic jew, so I and my congregation don't believe in buying your way into heaven. and, again, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought you could get to heaven even if you sinned.

If you had actually read the bible then you would know that tithing gets mentioned in way more than one verse.
