My brother had a pichu card, and it's funny, because it has sixty HP and can evolve into his Delta Pikachu which has 40 HP.

yes, and pikachu is listed as a "basic" pokemon.

Yeah, since Pichu is a baby it and some of the other baby pokemon, like Munchlax, ended up with weird card mechanics.
