That is so incorrect. Fauci did no such thing, as he knows that masks do work and they don't kill people.
And plenty do. Just google "masks research" and so many studies showing their efficacy will show up.

Did you hear about the peer-reviewed study done by Stanford University that demonstrates beyond a reasonable doubt that face masks have absolutely zero chance of preventing the spread of Covid-19? No? It was posted on the the National Center for Biotechnological Information government website.

Sure. That may have been for cloth masks against Omicron, but cloth masks worked against Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta.

Sure... Much of the scientific community has based its masking guidance on observational studies rather than randomized controlled trials.
