Bush appointed Judge states Trump "a charlatan" in latest insurrection trial

I fail to see the relevance of the Bush family's influence in the DS with respect to this matter. The fact remains, this is/was a GOP appointed Judge who rightfully recognizes Trump as a charlatan and one more interested in retaining political power - legal or illegal - than actually upholding the Consitution and/or democracy itself.

FYI... one can't be a classified as a "shill" if stating irrefutable facts. That's the domain of GOP propagandists on Fox, Newsmax, OAN and Trump's sychophants within Congress, etc.

These ETHICAL individuals are what CORRUPT Republican officials & their media mouthpieces beholden to Trump are trying to define as "RINOs", which far too many naive Trump supporters foolishly believe.

After the jury's verdict, Judge Reggie Walton tore into Trump for his efforts to dupe supporters into believing the election was stolen, stating.... “I think our democracy is in trouble because, unfortunately, we have charlatans like our former president who doesn’t, in my view, really care about democracy but only about power”.

He also described Thompson as "weak-minded” and part of a “gullible” throng of Trump backers who couldn’t separate his (fictional) claims from (factual) reality.
