The next thing she knew, she woke up in the hanger. Avalanche and Sky were there, Avalanche looked worried, she had her helmet off, Sky however still had his helmet on, after all this time he never took it off.
Avalanche was the first to speak. “I don’t think she’s ok, does she remember?”
“No, Stardust, would you like to know what you did?”
“Yes, I want to know what you are talking about. I don’t remember anything in the last 2 hours at least.”
Sky replied, “you were asleep on the way here so we don’t need to explain that part. But here is what I was referring to. This was taken on board the Devastator.”
He pointed toward a large holoscreen, it was a video. Stardust had just landed on the sentinel cruiser when she saw her scales change, she looked cool, her scales looked like a distant nebula in space. The next thing she noticed was the reality distortion happening around the cruisers she was on. The cruiser crushed and exploded in on itself, and the blast knocked out another nearby sentinel cruiser and two sentinel battleships.
“Don’t worry, you didn’t kill anyone. You only destroyed sentinels. It was brilliant,” Avalanche remarked. She sounded more excited rather than worried.
Next Stardust jumped onto Sky’s starfighter and it immediately made the jump to light speed. She looked down and realized her scales were more white than usual, like she was afraid of something.
“It did that all on its own. Had to have someone repair my starfighter. Instead of me so I can watch over you here.”
“I need to learn how to control that.”
“It might just be a one time power or ability.”
“Maybe, I guess will figure it out later.”
