I hate being forced to read books too. I read them on my own recently cause I haven’t heard of them before.

I did read the graphic novel tho because I can actually read it

I didn’t read any of the graphic novels XD, I got the standard books.

Given that Clay is fireproof and really strong, Tsunami would attack anyone on sight if they threatened her brothers and sisters, Sunny can wiggle her way out of literally any situation, Starflight is blind but a real genius, and Glory is queen of 2 tribes with camouflage and venom spit, I'd say the chances of the WoF team will win.

Here is my solution.

I classify Glory/ All rainwings as duel dragon and poison types. Garchomp takes those out easily cause their duel dragon and ground. Simply earthquake twice and that should be it. Seawings would be duel water and dragon like Palkia. Electric types would be super effective. That’s why Luxray is there (I did one hit KO Palkia with a level 44 Luxray).

Solution for starflight:

Luxray/Garchomp

Luxray can learn crunch which is a dark type move, unless we’re going with nightwings would be dark types, in which case, switch to Garchomp or Floatzel assuming Floatzel knows ice beam, which would be the same solution for fighting Clay.

Finally Sunny:

Since they don’t have their poison barb, I’m gonna classify them as ground and dragon like clay.
Use Torterra or garchomp for high attack. If they had it, torterra and garchomp can both learn earthquake.

Staraptor Would be an even match for anyone cause of close combat.

OK, but against both Rainwing and Nightwing tribes? Remember, Glory has 2 armies at her fingertips?

I left armies out of the battle, cause I have the standard trainer battle format. They would need to switch out or run and can only attack with a team of 6 with one of them battling at a time.

Also, I was gonna do the battle as if Starflight could still see.

And because I went with the standard Pokémon battle format (mentioned in the title). It’s probable Trainer [Pokemon Platinum], vanquisher of the Lord of The Distortion World would win. If it was any one of the Champions like Steven or Cynthia, it would be a much worse situation.

I just realized I forgot to mention this,

Garchomp wouldn’t be affected by the poison. Garchomp is a ground type, and poison isn’t very effective against ground types. Even then, Trainer could just use an antidote or a full restore. It would basically be the equivalent of using Acid which has a power of 40 and lowers special defense, which already doesn’t do much if your Pokémon isn’t a special attacker.

Torterra would still be affected because their a Grass and Ground type, it still wouldn’t be super effective, but it could still do decent damage.

Considering how I classified all of the dragons earlier with Pokémon types, If the first move doesn’t kill, Just Garchomp and Luxray could sweep the entire team (Let’s say Tsunami was like Cyrus’s Gyrados and knew the move Earthquake, I think Luxray’s defense is high enough that it could tank an earthquake). (With help from Staraptor if we are really gonna count nightwings as dark types)

The one challenge is Garchomp is also a dragon type, and considering the rest of them are dragon types (cause they are actually dragons), this is both an advantage and a weakness as dragon types are only super effective against other dragon types. In which case, at Garchomps current level, Garchimp could just hit dragon claw or dragon rush 5-10 times and be done with the battle.
