Tbh, before I found Imgflip, I had no idea that life in America is actually so different from life in the Philippines

how much different is it in the philippines? cuz i live in america

1. I literally have never seen a school shooting in the Philippines, not even in Filipino news.
2. Nurses actually don't just give you an ice pack and actually help you.
3. There can be more than 2 candidates in a Presidential election and Vice Presidents have their own election too.
4. In elections, almost anyone can be candidate, even sons of dictators, underwear models, and former sports legends.
5. We have Jeepneys and Tricycles as forms of public transportation.
6. A lot of ppl are dirt poor and you can see millions of them all around.
7. When there's a storm, things can get really crazy. A lot of houses don't have a firm foundation so it's possible to find flying roofs and upturned houses.
8. I can't say that there's no gay or trans people in the Philippines because there are actually a lot, there's even a trans woman who became one of the hosts in a TV show (the show kind of becomes boring when she's not around bcuz she's always the one making the funniest jokes.) But I've never met a Filipino who is non-binary or refers to themselves as they/them.

for usa u dont gotta have a license and u have to be 18
but with bb guns and airsoft guns i dont think there is an age requirement cuz i got a bb gun for my 9th birthday
