Thanks for asking. As I said after the event, certain people probably ended up in the Capitol by following the crowd. I have always said that these people probably broke "trespassing," laws by accident and should be let off. Although this guy made incriminating statements that one could see as evidence that he knew he did not belong there, he did not advocate, encourage or take part in any violence. The evidence allowed for more than a reasonable doubt. The judge rendered an appropriate verdict.

None-the less. This has cost him time and money that he will never get back. I feel sad for him and people like him, who went to a rally and ended up at a riot, by accident.
