Does anyone remember the race to get the Dog Man books, the Captain Underpants books, or the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books first?

my school did a book fair, and as per normal the popular kids immediatly got the dogmans and for our school it was Capn Underpants that sold out immiedatly, however i went for the finger pointers and had like 4 of them i gave to my frends, and then all 4 of us pointed at people and yelled "GUILTY", and the guilty finger was born. holy crap those were the good days. ( i cant spell, and sorry for a paragraph)

I remember doing this in my elementary school in 1st and 2nd grade but then in 3rd grade they replaced it with book club were you just order books from a magazine. I miss the nostalgia :’)

So I switched to home school in 6 grade but these things were the absolute best thing ever
