At the end of the day, I don't hold it against people for thinking the shots are good or effective.
It's not what people believe. It's how they believe.
They act like they are in a fear based cult and shriek if it's questioned, even politely and neutrally by evidence and circumstance. I mean I'm not talking about harassing or even lively debates, I'm saying just when evidence comes up that the narrative was off or corrupt, they either get horrified or shrink into the shadows, hoping the world forgets.
