No, I'm not insulting Narnia. I'm a fan, too, at least casually from Nostalgia, and in concept.
I'm saying when you see Bible stories in kid's cartoons it comes off light hearted like Narnia or Star Wars.
When you read the actual Bible itself, it's horrifying (even if you agree with it) and it's an even bigger tone shift from the light hearted Star Wars/Narnia to the grimdark Game of Thrones/Warhammer.
