Often similar at times;
Two ways to rule the world,
Often to justify their crimes;
By whim of petty kings and queens
Young men are sent to die in war;
Their propaganda speaking
Those words been heard before -

Two ways to view the world,
Brought Earth right down into flames;
Two ways to rule...

Has man truly gone insane?
A few will haplessly remain,
Who'll somehow find a way;
To live just one more day,
Amidst decades of unholy war -
It spreads like veritable disease,
There's still yet no sign of peace;
Belligerence in our creed,
Cause many millions to bleed;
Through tribulations abhorred -
Has man truly gone insane?
No one is safe from this blame!

From dawn to dawn they're fighting,
Dying shall they stand;
The fog-of-war belies thick,
When armies scorch the land;
With all of Terra burning,
Oh, what can be done?
We've been to war a decade,
Still two more to come!

Such a long way from home -
Baptized only to die in war;
And the world burned -

Has man truly gone insane?
