This is true, and I do understand what you mean. I think Waffle is kind of right, it is basically paying money to access our own idea. But think: Pro was made to make better quality memes and GIFs, not to show of with a cool purple or green color and extra grid space. I understand that you would need to pay to remove the watermark, because the watermark brings in more users if seen outside the site. But the new custom icon settings would not affect the site much, it does give another way to tell users that you can support the site, so you can add other free features. But unless humans are attracted to the color purple, like moths to light, you know…
So yes, I do understand why you need money, I’m just saying that you shouldn’t add a paywall to every highly requested feature, because an important thing about companies making money is making sure the users are happy using their services, so they continue using it.
