To be perfectly fair, Jimmy G was not a bad qb, just not a great one. Trading him would've been nice tho, and Lynch won't release him.

That's fair. I read an article about how Garoppolo is a genius for having shoulder surgery when he did because he now has all the leverage, not John Lynch.

He did it 2/2 times in the playoffs in the fourth quarter during a big game while they were winning. Also those were the only times they made the playoffs since he joined the team.
