Thanks for continuing the meme! o((>ω< ))o
Your own addition reminds me of how BoTW was originally planned to have tiny villages in the world, as well as the ability to shrink down to said villages, just like in the Minish Cap- A shame it was removed, because it sounds like it'd be genuinely interesting ╯︿╰

Yeah. I heard that they had planned to have the picori but canceled it.

They did have it planned, as well as some UFO stuff, though each got cut from development 😢 I really wish they added those things, because as expensive as BoTW's map is, I honestly feel as though it lacks much settlement. Yes, I get that it's supposed to be that way due to the Calamity, but it just makes everything feel so... bare and incomplete? Like, I just want to see more civilization and whatnot, is all. Just to add some life and have more NPC's to interact with, instead of just going through the same wilderness over and over again :\

Yeah, that's always the problem with post-apocalyptic games, not enough people, which is only exacerbated by the expansivenss of them. I personally feel that the timeline helped some of the other games with the feel of it post-publishing, like how the first game takes place down the timeline where the Hero of Time loses, thus explaining all of the people hiding underground. But when you have graphics as good as Breath of the Wild it makes the fact of nearly everyone having died sadder.

I get all of that, though I still would have liked to see more life in the game. I especially wish we could have taken a stroll through Castle Town before everything got destroyed because, judging from the cutscenes, it looked incredibly beautiful, as well as a place I'd love to be able to explore in Zelda. Hopefully we'll get to do just that in BoTW 2 😌

Yes, the castle towns always add a good feel to the games. In the Minish Cap in particular it felt like one of the few places you were actually safe from the monsters you spent the rest of your time fighting. They even had a hotel and a place where you could fight monsters in your dreams, which was really fun.

I've yet to play the Minish Cap, as I've only ever read the manga version of it, though that does sound rather pleasant ♪(´▽`) And I'm glad you feel the same way, because it truly is a nice feeling that the Castle Town can present to the player; a little escape and break from the enemies ♥

Minish Cap was the first game I ever played; my older brother was given an SP and the game as a hand-me-down from one of his friends and I had to negotiate for one of the save slots.

Though it sounds as though it were a bit hectic, I bet it also made some very fond memories (❁´◡`❁) That's one thing I've always liked about the series; they just seem like such a good way to bond with others over, though I can't quite tell what it is that makes it that way. Still, it's a very special little thing *^____^*
