I used to work as an electrical surveyor and i'd often go and do solar roof estimates if their sales staff weren't available.
Solar panel life span = 25 years
Exterior wiring = 20 years
Micro inverters = 10 years
Installed inverter = 6-8 years
AVERAGE WARRANTY LENGTH = 5 years
About 1/3 of peoples panel systems will be offline by 2030 because it costs a boat load to replace many of these parts + labor. Also most panels sold come from China and they purposely change the manufacturing models every single year, so if 1 panel breaks, you'll never get another. you'll just have to drop down the size of the system.
