Don’t violate TOS, you don’t get timered. I won’t say Danny is 100% innocent in all of this, but you all are ganging up on him.

Regarding your comment about evidence, there is an entire Google doc full of images and screenshots. You want to know why we don’t have evidence on this website? Because just like his discord, he will purge and delete his incriminating images and/or criticism from others, I’m pretty sure you took some down yourself too. I’m not saying that no one else in MSMG has done this either, but I’m saying we do have evidence that you just don’t want to look at or are avoiding it for some other reason. I would have provided a link here but I unfortunately don’t know if I still have access to it as of right now.

Not saying no one on MSMG has done anything wrong either. Because let’s be honest they are harassing Danny too much. A joke here and there is fine but it’s come to the point where it’s on the same frequency as Dream Stan and anti-lgbtq+ memes and anti-furry memes, which targeted for one user only is harassment as we have mentioned.

I think the problem here is really on both sides. MSMG is tired of being shat on and is starting to lash out while the global mods do nothing but add fuel to the fire. I do think both sides deserve punishment. What I am seeing though is one side getting away with everything while the other side has to act almost perfect or it’s an account deactivation or stream deactivation.

Other users wanted me to add: All MSMG wants is the ability to prevent flag spamming on unnecessary comments out of spite of a ban for previous reasons as this is what sparked the uproar a few nights ago. The problem you guys don’t seem to have us having to go through every single flag to check if you really need to delete the comment or not while the stream mods and owners have to be extremely careful about what they do or it could end up in a situation where the stream is deactivated for the wrong reasons or possibly mistaken intentions.

Um no. You do not “have” to do anything except stop harassing Danny. Keep harassing Danny, you keep getting timers. If you have something I can take action against (Imgflip links, not your stalker file), then you’re more than welcome to share with us and we will deal with it accordingly. But you do not get a free pass to harass just because you didn’t like how a mod dealt with the situation previously.

We made the “stalker file” [which is literally evidence” because you didn’t do anything do anything when we reported the issue. Every time we’ve came to you, you did next to nothing to help. So yeah, I don’t blame anyone for saying something along the lines of “Danny on his way to the daycare to add a toddler to his collection” because it’s memes like those that WORKED last time. Not coming to you. Several first hand witnesses came to you with the issue and you basically said “screw you, I don’t care” and with all due respect- if someone doesn’t deal with the issue, that further allows that behavior for not just Danny, but anyone who attempts things like that in future. MSMG no matter how you look at has done WAY MORE to help the situation then YOU EVER HAVE. And the fact you’re going to take that away is pathetic and sad. So like I said. 3 options help, stay neutral, or just don’t do anything. Don’t abuse mod and force the option of “everyone magically forgets it ever happened”

You can rant at me all you want, it’s not going to change the fact you’re harassing Danny and it ends now. So you can either leave Danny alone and you won’t get timered or you can keep harassing Danny and you will get timered or worse. You’re not the one calling the shots here, I am, and unless you have the links I have repeatedly asked for, then you do not have the proof I need to do anything about what MSMG has said Danny did.

LOGIC WITH ME HERE- the photography speaks for itself, if you don’t wanna help after that, don’t bother approving flags and such ESPECIALLY after Danny said you can calm down yourself. Spin it all you want, you’re the ones violating TOS, hence why you’re the ones getting timers, and if I’m being frank, you’re getting off light in that all I’m doing is issuing timers. You don’t get a free pass to harass.

Well then how do we deal with this. Because if you’re gonna continue allowing it, someone has to step up and do your job for you. And dishing out penalties for people who do is a terrible precedent for anyone who DOES decide to try and flag things. So what do you want from us?

It’s easy. Stop harassing Danny. You don’t get a free pass to harass because you don’t like how the mods handle things. Stop now before we decide to take harsher actions against you and other Danny harassers.

Unless you’re a stream mod in which that incident took place, it’s not your place to take any action other than flagging content. Even if you are a stream mod, you are still required to abide by the Imgflip TOS and not harass people. There will be no action taken against Danny’s account unless you can provide actual links to Imgflip where he violates TOS. Keep harassing Danny, I’ll keep issuing timers.

If screenshots don’t work, is there a way for someone too provide evidence against someone who deletes all of their commends and memes?

That’s a tough problem to solve on the sitewide level, especially if they are doing that. It can be pretty easily solved at the stream level though if the stream mods are cooperative through bans and timers. As for dealing with it sitewide, feel free to link accounts that are harassing others and I’ll keep my eye on them. If they are deleting their content, give me all the information you can on them, especially when they are generally active so that I have everything I can to catch them in the act. I will also forward it to my fellow mods, especially if I know I can’t do it personally.

Do you recommend any methods for dealing with flag spammers?

Not really. From what I’ve seen, it really only seems to be a problem in MSMG, and since they have a bajillion mods, they can get through them quite quickly. I’m also not very keen on introducing something like flag limits or bans to the developers as I think that would do more harm than good, especially when dealing with streams with a lot of TOS violations in them, as they can just ban flagging their content. It’s annoying, but it just comes with the territory when being a moderator.

I have had some problems with spam flagging in the LGBTQ stream, but I understand why there is some hesitation for limits. Maybe there could be a way to set a maximum flag limit for people per hour? Like a “flag ban” would only make it so you can only flag 5 images/comments an hour? Also accounts that aren’t signed in should have a limit, because often people will sign out to flag spam. That way it limits abuse but makes it harder too flag spam.

Danny, as far as I am told, is not innocent, but people attacking him for past mistakes is.... unneeded. If one just forgave Danny for his past, I'm sure others would follow and this whole thing would end.
