1) We only account for something like 12% of Russia's income and that's when there are heavy sanctions in place and what not.
2) Fair.
3) That may not be technologically feasible and if it were, I doubt they're aware to how to begin to do that. I mean, internet corporations are pulling out of Ukraine already, but a VPN easily bypasses these restrictions. The internet isn't like a satellite that you can just scramble. You would be effectively ruining communications of all kind, not just social media.
4) Fair, but I don't believe we have to facilitate that.
5) Doing that.
6) I think communication of any kind is already out of the question. Both sides are propaganda-armed and ready to spin this as a victory for either side no matter the outcome.
I can tell you that Zelensky's request for a no-fly zone is not possible unless we're willing to let Russia fly a nuke at us...vice versa... I don't think it's intelligent to call Russia's bluff because it's very clear that they're insane.
As far as I'm concerned, we're already doing the maximum we can without trading nuclear hits.
That is exactly what Russia appears to want.
I'm kinda half expecting North Korea to nuke Russia. Not because it makes sense but it follows the insanity I've had to contend with on a daily basis.
And no, I don't explicitly hope for that outcome either.
