I’m just want to know!

Nobody should have to explain to you why you shouldn't live in filth.

Just an example of like mom tells me to do something and I ask why because I am genuinely curious I still do it but I want to know the purpose of the task I’m doing. Imagine if you and someone are working on a car and they tell you to change the oil and you ask why as in why does his need to be done and they tell you because it lubes the gears and keeps them from melting together. So when I ask mom why I’m not asking why should I do it but what is the purpose of the task

If someone knows enough about cars to know how to change the oil then they very likely know why it needs to be done.

You live in her house, she doesn't want her house to be gross. Consider growing up a bit so you don't need your mommy to hold your hand through every decision she makes in the course of a day.

I was a curious kid growing up, my mom would say “I need to change my oil” I would ask “why” and she would explain. With the meme I was bored and had a long car ride and this was the first thing that came to mind. And when I would ask questions growing up they were either because I didn’t know( i.e. why cars need oil ) or because of the situation i.e. vacuum your room, why, guests are coming over.

And criticizing this joke is like criticizing the chicken crossing the road joke, saying “ well the chicken should be kept in a pen” I’m a kid, it’s a joke, I explained the joke to you, get over it.
