I hadn't heard one person talk about The Power of The Dog until it won. But having learned a little something about it now, I think this was probably just another example of awarding a film based on socio-political sentiment instead of merit.
After Sam Elliott says he doesn't feel your "The Power of the Dog" film is a real western. Sam Elliott is a little b*tch! He's just an actor, not a cowboy! After you're called out for pretending your challenges have been tougher than any faced by Serena and Venus Williams. I'm not a pro tennis player and am so, so, soooo sorry! Karma is the real b*tch.
