Right? I read in light of the U.S. laying down sanctions or Russia they threatened to strand U.S. astronaut(s) on the ISS.
I was in college back when Obama announced he was scrapping the space shuttle. I wrote a paper about how that was short sited and would bite us in the ass. Liberal prof didn't like that.
