You can't store anymore, you must donate it to charity or do something good for society with it. That wealth is not cash sitting in a checking account. You just don’t understand. Most of that wealth is real estate, business property or stocks. In order to distribute that wealth to the little people in the way you think (cash) it should be done is impossible. If all that stock owned by Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Bezos, etc were to be sold, you wouldn’t get full value for it because nobody else has the cash to buy it.

And after that you get all this money from billionaires, are you gonna turn around and give it to the starving poor in Africa? Why should I just stop with the billionaires? How far do you think this money is gonna go all the way down the chain? Maybe you should look at the modern history of Venezuela since Chavez ran on the promise of distributing all the wealth in the country.

Chávez and Maduro ruined Venezuela in just a couple decades with Socialism. The poverty rate in Venezuela is now astonishingly probably over 70%.

Wouldn't work.
All those neat commodities you enjoy... Internet, phones, games, houses to live in, food etc.

Kiss them goodbye.

If you were at money cap then you would have no incentive to make anything anymore.
So nothing would get done.

There isn't a set amount of wealth in the economy, all you are proposing is the complete stalling of the current economic system.

The rich can ride it out as they have money and the poor would suffer a profound level of misery.

Did you miss Elon Musk paying the highest single tax bill in US history for the previous financial year?

Additionally, if you try cranking up the tax too high, they will take their money and leave the country.
Then you get nothing.

Because these things are being run by people who have no idea of how tax and/or economics works beyond the most basic level.

Or they are run by manipulative assholes who are trying to rile people up into being useful pawns for their own agendas.

Either way, no one has any entitlement to another persons wealth, regardless of if it was earned or inherited.
