My service number is US-567-26-***. I was in the Army, also. That experience did not qualify me to be an expert on all things about warfare or military. I also worked for the VA for 30-years as an Administrative Officer, Health Systems Specialist, Health Systems Manager, Public Affairs Officer and Regional Director of Public Affairs. I have met and worked with and for thousands of Veterans in my life. Guess what, you are all different and unique. I worked for the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, a member of the President's Cabinet, who was a former Congressman and GHW Bush's "closest friend," in Congress. I have worked for the longest held POW in America's History. And, I have worked for other Republican Political Appointees. They were all different. I helped a Protected Political Refugee who had been the top Anesthesiologist in the then Soviet Union, adjust and adapt to being an American Physician. These people were bright and patriotic. None of them would defend Putin or criticize the president under these circumstances. Pardon me if I value their opinion of me over yours.
