It benefits LGBTQ kids so their identities and lifestyles are not further stigmatized, and so they can have a comfortable and safe place at school if they don’t have that at home.

You are conflating sex and sexual orientation.

So you are saying a baby can be transgender or gay before its even born? And you are Ok with killing this transgender gay baby through abortion?

Murder, rape, and theft all occur in nature. Some animals kill their young or abandon wounded family members. Others cannibalize their mates. Just because it happens in “nature” doesn’t make it natural.

If humans do that, it’s probably because of the social consequences of capitalism, but humans in their early civilizations practiced cannibalism to survive.

It never ceases to amaze me to meet conservatives who challenge already established science. An idiot told me yesterday that evolution hasn’t been proven and is only a theory.

If it’s long established science that gay is in your DNA, then show me. It shouldn’t be difficult. We are meant to procreate. Any deviation is a genetic mutation that serves no evolutionary or positive purpose.

Science has established that sexual orientation is determined by multiple factors, including environment and biology, and not a single gene, though previous studies have shown someone is more likely to be gay based on certain genetics. One study showed a gene gave gay uncles and aunts the purpose of looking after nieces and nephews to "nurture the family tree".

If homosexuality were a mutation or a defect like you suggest, you would think it would be treatable. But it isn't. Multiple studies show conversion therapy is a failure, and gay people can resist acting on their attractions, but cannot stop their attractions.
