💅💅💅THE PROTEST💅💅💅
💅💅💅💅okay SOOOO a BIT of background information: yesterday everyone had to wear purple to support LGBTQ+ people so we've got me with the only purple shirt I have on and these earrings that were rainbow hearts (when I got those I didnt know they were pride but hey they came in handy and everyone loved them) 💅💅💅💅💅💅💅💅💅 anyways so basically at 8 am im in the hallway before school starts and we're talking and I hear that at exactly 1 pm everyone will get up walk out of their classrooms and protest for exactly 20 min for people in Florida and Texas (I think this is an article about it https://www.bostonglobe.com/2022/03/11/metro/massachusetts-students-plan-walkout-protest-anti-queer-legislation-florida-texas/)💅💅💅 and the people I was talking with didn't want to do it because some teachers like planned the thing too and this is supposed to be against them 💅💅💅💅💅💅💅💅 but anyways! It's science class and when we get back from lunch (btw there is only like 20 min of class left at this point) we're in the classroom and it turns out EVERYONE except for 2 homophobic girls (I might do a part 2 on that) is in on the protest thing, so everyone is looking at the clock. 💅💅💅💅💅💅💅 anyways so my partner goes to get his meds at the nurse (he planned to go then so that when it did start he can join us) and I looked at the clock and we had 5 minutes left so I went over to my friend to tell her and then I saw the teacher walking over so I just squealed at her and she's like "del- wha-" 💅💅💅💅💅💅 so then I go and 5 minutes later some kid says "3. 2. 1. okay let's go" and he closes his computer and EVERYONE in the class EXCEPT for the homophobes gets up and everyone like goes to me for some reason maybe bc im in the back and my teacher has this weird look and hes like "...wHeRe ArE yAlL gOiNg ThErE's StIlL 10 mInUtEs LeFt" and everyone is just standing in the back with our backpacks like 😐 😑 😐 and hes like "someone tell me whats going on or else💅💅💅 I send y'all to the OFFICE or call GUIDIANCE on you guys"💅💅💅💅💅💅💅 so then we all sit down and look at each other and hes like "I dont understand" and someone explains to him and hes like "ohhh well y'all shouldn't be leaving M Y class to protest something across the COUNTRY" and we were like "welp"
