The Lancaster still wins out (In my opinion) due to several reasons:
1. You need to keep in mind the logistics of everything. America was far from the war, and dominated over far more resources than the British could dream of having. The Lancaster was incredibly cost-effective, at only $45,000, whereas a single B-29 cost $640,000, so the technological superiority of the Americans is a granted, whereas the Lancaster could be built
2. The Bomb capacity was huge. It could carry 10 tonnes--double what the B-17 could carry, and the same as the B-29, only developed far earlier. You can see this by the amount of devastation it caused throughout the war, in operation chastise and the sinking of the Tirpitz, as well as devastating the Ruhr valley, Berlin, and Dresden. The fact that it had only one huge bomb bay meant it could probably have dropped nukes if it was needed
3. It was extraordinarily nimble for its size, being able to conduct evasive manoeuvres such as the corkscrew
In short, the B-29 may have been better for a country that needed huge range, highly advanced bombers and had the resources to pay for something like that, but for a country that was close to the battle and had an industry constantly bombarded by high explosives, the Lancaster was easily superior.
