It's called the parent's rights in education bill. It isn't a don't say gay bill. It doesn't even have anything to do with not being allowed to say gay. That is what I mean when I say that the don't say gay bill doesn't exist.

But It does exist. Its right there. HB 1557. Read it.

Now, this is a nothing event, but a mouth peice for the left. I agree that we should not be teaching such things to children in K through 3rd grade. Bit it goes as far that if a child, has parents that want their child to eat a vegetarian lunch, and that child does not wish to eat such lunch, the school cannot do anything about it. Prior to this bill, they would give the kid a regular lunch. So, dont get caught up on the SEX ED of things. It is really about the schools no longer being a safe place for those children who do not otherwise have a safe place. The schools hands are tied, now!

But go ahead, get caught up on the BRANDING of the bill by its opponents.

It is marketing, pure and simple. It is what POLITICIANS DO!
