I know that you regret what happened, but you're still a human. We're all people. And people can make a lot of mistakes. But that's natural. We have flaws, but that's what makes us beautiful. It's your decision to leave or not, but I just wanted you to know that you don't have to.
And the best part about mistakes is learning from them. If you don't like the way things go at first, you can figure out what you could do in the future to prevent that kind of outcome. And sometimes a mistake can turn out to have it's own benefits. Positive and negative affects.
Personally, I think you shouldn't be hard on yourself for bad reactions. Don't get me wrong, apologizing if you need to is still a good idea, but it's ok to be upset. It's ok to be angry.
Again, leaving is your decision, but to be honest, you're one of the most mature users here. I think in your position, most of us wouldn't have handled it nearly as well as you did.
