The reason behind this is beacuse Mangle is a 'mangle' of 2 animatronics. one female (Toy foxy), and one male (endo head).

When you choose "Ladie's Night" on SL, Funtime Foxy gets chosen. Mangle is basically just Funtime Foxy without faceplates. So, I believe that Mangle is a girl.
