Government shouldn't be ruled primarily by politicians, we need much more diversity (i.e. farmers, doctors, engineers, industrial workers, chefs, etc.)

I understand what you mean, but like... not everyone is qualified. You can't pull a f**king farmer out from the fields, give him a suit and say "you're the President now". Everything you're saying is wHy we have democracy. So instead of giving the farmer a chance to be President, we let him choose who the President should b e . And that system lets society contribute enough. And- not everyone wants to be a politician. Law school is h a r d . Why would you go to med school to be a doctor, and then all of a sudden have someone tell you "hey, do you wanna work in the Supreme Court"? It doesn't make sense.
