Yes, we consider Roman Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy like 2 lungs of the same church. There are certain sects of the Orthodox rite like Russian Orthodox that don't recognize the Pope though. It's complicated to say the least.

Hold that thought, don't quote me because I'm still researching all the nuances of the various Orthodox churches. Only some would be considered closer to the Catholic Church as far as beliefs and liturgy. There's actually Byzantine Catholic churches as well as Greek and Ukranian Orthodox. Stay tuned.
