There are far-rightist Neo-Nazis in Ukraine — just like there are in Russia, Germany, Hungary, Poland, the United States, Greece, Canada, Argentina, and every other country. Do they all deserve to be invaded? And all the non-Nazis who live there attacked and killed too?
What matters is whether or not Nazis are *in power.* Ukraine’s leadership is solidly liberal and democratic, led by a Jewish man even. A far cry from Nazi.
“Nazi” is a buzzword that USSR and Russian leaders have tossed around since the end of WWII any time they want to see some group of people eliminated. The term “Nazi” in the mouth of Putin bears no relationship to reality, except to the reality of who Putin wants killed next.
