I'm not sure we should be laughing at poor Russian workers who mostly hate putin even more than any of us do.

Yeah... It's a raw deal. I won't deny that. If you're going to be an authoritarian, be prepared for when the people rise against you for being an asswipe.

The Ruble has fallen so far since 2019... average wage was 800$ /month.. Now, average wage is 200$ a month. For the whole country. Putin's move cost his entire country 1/3 of what they were making.

It's going to be an uprising that will be from the ground up. It'll choke out every last one of them. You thinkk he has the infrastructure to fully support Russia in its prime with little trade, no money... Can you imagine Russia trying to trade with China? China's not going to be giving them discounts lol.

Russia isn't going to be able to feed itself. Again. Even if they win, the sanctions will endure and they will remove him. Either by force, or by exile.

And if he decides in some Christian white supremacist eschatological fever to literally nuke everywhere tomorrow?

Nukes don't work that way.
There's always a line of people to initiate the launch process. Always. There isn't a "Magic button." It would take a lot of really bad people to authenticate that.

That's what I suspected/hoped.

Yeah, massive sanctions + military/humanitarian aid to Ukraine is 100,000% the right play here.

I actually just dressed someone down for thinking the whole thing could be solved in 24h with some NATO bombers. No, that’s just taking the bait hard toward WWIII and perhaps Armageddon.

BIDEN: I’ll tell you all that when it’s over. Look, I’ve been doing this a long time. The last thing anyone would do is negotiate in front of the world press as to how he’s going to approach a critical meeting with another adversary and/or someone who could be an adversary. It’s the last thing I’m going to do.

But I will tell you this: I’m going to make clear to President Putin that there are areas where we can cooperate, if he chooses. And if he chooses not to cooperate and acts in a way that he has in the past, relative to cybersecurity and some other activities, then we will respond. We will respond in kind.

There need not be — we should decide where it’s in our mutual interest, in the interest of the world, to cooperate, and see if we can do that. And the areas where we don’t agree, make it clear what the red lines are. I have met with him. He’s bright. He’s tough. And I have found that he is a — as they say, when you used to play ball, “a worthy adversary.” But the fact is that I will be happy to talk with you when it’s over, and not before, about what the discussion will entail.

I see, it's not so much about the who, it's just the genetic fallacy of being a "career politician." When Trump has been on the political stage for 10 years at the least.

So you're either oblivious to the fact that Trump is a career politician, or you're embarrassingly biased to Joe Biden because Joe Biden.

In you're case, it's both.

So you're a fan of the strawman fallacy.... Got it. Ironically, this isn't logically false as you display the use of the strawman fallacy. This is an observation based upon action.

What you did, is you made an assumption with a mischaracterization of my position.

I already ran "What is a logical fallacy?" For you.

Now, get your big boy pants on and go look at "What is the difference between a red herring and a strawman?" Then, "What is a strawman argument?"

Then you'll realize how much you just embarrassed yourself.

Huh? What whining?

If all you have to go on is that Biden is a "corrupt politician." You're barking up the wrong tree. So long as any politician can invest in stocks, they're all corrupt to me. If they hold office at all, or have in the past, they're a politician. You being here, trying to stir the pot over Biden is the most shallow and transparent display of Biden Derangement Disorder I've seen. Further mired by how quickly you dodged the inclusion of Trump in your accusation putting your Trump Dependency Syndrome (TDS) on full display for everyone to see.

So, what whining? The only one whining here is you. "Waaa! Biden is corrupt!" "NO TRUMP DOESNT COUNT!"
