I've been seeing the opposite argument also - anti-gun left being in favor of the heavily armed Ukrainians. The problem is that there are more on the left than they think who are for the right to bear arms.

I'm pretty anti-gun. I don't think war does anything but cause pain and misery. And I'm in favor of the Ukrainians defending their homeland from an invader.

I'm more pro-gun in a 1775 kind of way but those right-wing ammosexuals out there are pretty obnoxious and seem to favor guns over human lives in ALL instances.

I’m a right leaning independent and I think guns are good, he reason being because the people that perform mass shootings are breaking the law, and changing the law won’t just make them stop. Making guns illegal for law abiding citizens when there are people out there that break the law because they don’t care is unfair because the regular people can’t fight back against people who have no regard for law and shoot up public areas because they think their life doesn’t matter up to that point. Also like half the guns in America are unregistered so goodluck tryna take them all lmao
