Y'know I was thinking more of the socio-philosophical side of things but the autobahn, mass ownership of vehicles, the common distribution & subsequent usage of the radio for information and entertainment, the V2, advancements in modern medicine, creation of reliable publicly funded healthcare, state-funded workers holidays, invention of the 'Jerry can', Jägermeister, the worlds 1st anti-smoking campaign (saving lives and lungs!), anti-vivisection and pro-animal welfare advocacy and legislation, promotion of a self-sustaining lifestyle (good for the environment as well!) and who can forget Fanta! (Hmm tasty!)
The Germans back in those days did a many number of wonderful things for the world, and you're right - The autobahn and Volkswagen are certainly two of them. :)
