In 2020, when my facts say Biden was also not President, the US imported more oil from Russia than from Saudi Arabia, with Russia’s share of American oil imports at a record-high 7 percent, in 2020 when my facts tell me Biden had no influence on oil imports. The last year continued the trend set during the Trump years.
But the increase in worldwide oil prices will probably rise again, as Germany placed sanctions against the Nord Stream II pipeline from Russia. That will probably disrupt Russian exports elsewhere and drive up prices worldwide. My facts tell me that we are a part of the world and subject to increases of costs of oil elsewhere.
