St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery is a functioning monastery in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. Located on the right bank of the Dnieper River northeast of the Saint Sophia Cathedral it stands in the historic "Uppertown" overlooking the historical merchant quarter, the Podil neighbourhood.
