Since that discussion is not in this stream there isn't much I can do to help - except maybe offer some advice: Don't get into these kind of discussions unless you're prepared to be thoroughly disappointed in humanity. If you see homophobic posts or comments like that don't respond. Actual discussion is fine, of course, but if someone tells you something like "trans people are against nature because god created Adam and Eve" no amount of discussion will change their mind. Just flag homophobic comments and let the mods decide if they'll allow stuff like that in their stream or if it's a safe space for humans. For this stream I can give you an answer but for other streams all I can tell you is to be careful out there.
